Now I'm getting under the covers, putting my headphones on and listening to my music as loud as I can take it, and cursing out Raine's Labramon.

So, since Corny's brilliant plan to try and keep up a cover story lasted for about ten days before Chris completely blew it out of the water, it looks like you've got two choices.

1) You can keep doing what you've been doing since then and pretend nothing ever happened and keep Lillian locked out of the loop.

Or

2) You can suck it up and deal.

Yeah. She's a kid, and she should be allowed to live a normal life. I get that. But don't you think that's kind of impossible here? She's going to have to fight anyway, and her powers are starting to resurface even though her Heart got split up. Given that one of her Heart fragments is in her Digimon, I think that might be causing a big problem here.

We've got loads of enemies just looking for some kind of weakness to take advantage of. With Team Alien Force flailing about that Eon guy and the Rangers flailing about Edd or Zedd or whatever his name was, I know I'd prefer to have her actually trusting us instead of her and Corny yelling at each other all the time. And if we're going to get her to trust us, we need to tell her everything.

And for the record? I was against this whole "don't tell the little girl about her incredibly dangerous powers" plan from the start.

So I came up with a cover story to tell Lillian. Sorry, Caleb and Elyon, but I had to tell her you were from Meridian if I was going to keep everything else a secret. As far as she knows, a team of Guardians and the Rebels were trying to protect Elyon's power from Phobos and Nerissa. I didn't mention anything about the Hearts or who the Guardians were. She just thinks that I heard all this from Caleb and Elyon. And she still has no idea about the Heart of Earth--which we still have to do something about, since her powers shouldn't be doing this if we've split them up with the Regents.

But we're still going to have to be careful. Caleb, I think you can try and come up with a cover story for your mom, since that's going to be a big hole in the story. And everyone make sure our friends and Matt and Caleb's students know not to reveal the truth.

Also, does anyone know what's up with this mistletoe? It's growing like crazy, and it's definitely not my powers doing this.
